Been a while!

Well, I haven't been on here in a while...I have been so busy with work and wedding planning!
Work is crazy as usual and as crazy as it sounds I don't THINK I would change it...granted I would love for one day to walk into the classroom and them be perfect angels all day but then when would I get my entertainment and laughs that I get everyday?!
Wedding planning is coming along quickly...invitations came in now I need someone to address them pretty...hint hint...AND I met with the florist last week.  I think I have pretty much finalized everything in the flower area...I guess until I see the price then we may be cutting back some!  Other than finishing paying for everything and small details everything is DONE...I never in a million years would've guessed how simple it would be to plan my dream wedding.  I guess when you find your dream guy everything else seems to falling into place!  He is the best, he is giving me my "princess wedding" as he calls it and although he does fuss a little about the cost he always seems to let me have my way.  My dress should be done at the alteration place in a few more weeks...I have been working out about 5 times a week so I hope that I won't need it taken in anymore...that wouldn't be good!  I have my portraits on June 1st and I'm really excited about it.  I think after getting dolled up in my WEDDING DRESS. reality will really sink in...I AM GETTING MARRIED IN JULY!  I cannot wait to see how everything turns out and most importantly marry the love of my life!
As for this week it's just the same ol' same, work, workout, eat and sleep. Same thing every week it seems!
This weekend I have a surprise birthday party for one of my friends dads and then on Saturday my college suite mate is getting married! I'm excited to see her and am so happy for her and David to finally tie the knot...they have been together a little longer than Chad and I...that's a long time if any of you are wondering...like 5+ years!  I am excited to see everyone from college that I haven't seen since the last wedding of my college roommate! It should be a good time!

Busy, Busy!

Hey y'all! I hope everyone had a great weekend and a good start to their week!  We sure had a busy weekend, Chad and I left for Cary Friday afternoon for his best friend, Tripp's wedding.  Friday night the rehearsal dinner was at Lucky 32...it was delicious!  They guys all went out and I stayed with my friend Katie since she lives up there and her husband was a groomsman as well.  We hung out at her house and just talked and had a little wine.  Saturday we slept, went and met some other groomsmen's others halves for lunch then went to the hotel and got ready for the wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and a lot of fun with friends!

I found out Thursday that I GOT A JOB! Woohoo, I'm so excited---and to make things even better it is in Kindergarten...I loveeeee that age!!! I can't wait to get into my classroom and get busy arranging things and seeing how much I'm going to break the bank!  Luckily, a teacher that taught kindergarten and first grade for years gave me about 250 books and then bunder after binder of different resources for me.  It will definitely be a great start and help to the beginning of my teaching career!  If you follow me on pinterest you have seen just how addicted I have become to piuning non-stop!  When I finally get in there and get things going I'll take pictures and post them!

I have to babysit tomorrow and Thursday then Friday I'm going to the beach that morning and staying until Sunday hopefully since my mom is down there for the weekend.

First Blog

Hey y'all, I'm pretty new to this whole blog thing but I've been wanting to make one but wasn't sure what I'd write about.  I figured today while I was sitting here I would go ahead and start...not sure if anyone will read it but who knows?!
Life has been pretty interesting and stressful at the same time lately.  I am in the process of job hunting...it is soooo frustrating considering when I decided I wanted to become an educator it seemed so simple to find a job.  Now that I have graduated everyone is telling me how hard it is to find a job and boy do I know that now.  I have been in for interviews and nothing.  It is so aggravating because I worked so hard in college to graduate with honors and it doesn't feel like all of my hard work is paying off.  I have another interview tomorrow, it is in Onslow County though but still, it could possibly be a job, at this point--1 month left before school starts, I'm getting extremely desperate!  Please, everyone pray for me during this difficult job hunt!
On a better note this has been a nice enjoyable summer because I am not working full-time so I am having time to enjoy the beach as often as possible.  Granted my bank account is suffering for the lack of work the the free time is nice since my last years of my life I have spend swamped with school work and work.  Friday night we went cat fishing...it was fun but I was disappointed we didn't catch any catfish...until after I left!  The past two Sundays I have been out on the boat with a lifelong friend/family of mine and it has been so much fun.  We rode out to Rich's Inlet off of Figure Eight Island and just enjoyed the beautiful scene.  Yesterday, we went tubing and it was so much fun; my body is disliking it today though, I can hardly lift my arms up because they are sooooo sore!  While we were out tubing the weather quickly changed and before we could get back to the island to pack everything up a terrible storm came.  We stayed on the island under a tent because the lightening was so bad and the rain was so heavy.  It was kind of scary because it started hailing and the wind was blowing so hard it was all we could do to keep the tent up!  God was most definitely watching over us for that 30-45 minutes we were stuck on the island.  After 10 hours in the sun I was so worn out last night, it was such a great day!
Today I am keeping the cutest little boys in the whole world...my sweet nephews Brantley and Jackson.  They have gone to the dentist right now and I'm waiting for them to get back and snuggle with me for nap time.
